Speakeasy Tattoo follows strict measures to make sure your tattoo process is as clean and safe as possible, and we want you to be as informed as possible before you make the decision to get tattooed.

Tattooed skin is healed by the body's immune system (click here to read more about how). While the jury may be out on how tattoos affect the body as a whole, there is evidence that tattoos may weaken the immune system for a time - especially if the immune system is already compromised (click here for signs of a compromised immune system).

Getting a tattoo is always a risk for immune-compromised people, especially if you take immune-suppressants for lupus, RA, etc., and even more so during a pandemic.

If you have any of the following symptoms:

-Fever, Chills, or Excessive Sweating

-Shortness of Breath

-Muscle or Body Aches

-Sore Throat

even if you think it is just allergies or a cold, please reach out to your artist to reschedule.

We are all very understanding especially right now.

If you wait and come into the shop with any symptoms, we will have to turn you away, you will lose your deposit, and your artist has the choice to deny you a rescheduling.

Sickness in the shop can potentially lead us to have to shut down for 2+ weeks per state law.

While we all understand the pandemic fatigue, we ask you to please help us keep everyone safe and help us stay open by doing the right things:
